Im looking at buying some work wheels Work Equip 03 but unsure of what disk type to choose.
Just to confirm I'm thinking of getting the A-Disk type to fit over the wilwood big brake kit.

Has anyone else done the same?

thanks Kaan

i have never hear of anyone having any issues fitting any type of wheel with the wilwood kits.

the calliper protrudes 24mm from the rotor mounting face... so if you measure the hub depth and minus 24mm it will give you total calliper protrusion..

i dont have an 86 hub with me to measure... i did however have an st141 hub.. and the calliper would sit 4mm or so inboard.. so no protrusion.. but just measure an 86 hub to confirm.

Cheers

Joel

14s or 15s?

15's I tried some 15x8 -4 superlites with 195/50 re002 on them but running adm setup. But my sis has wilwoods on her car and they're her wheels.

I was thinking about getting the a-disk 15x9 -3 with similar tyres

15's will bolt up both a and o disk.worst case would be 3mm spacer.

i use o disk 14x8.5 -22 equip 03's, but i need an 8mm to clear the bolts. on the back of the rim.

14s or 15s?

Haven't heard of anyone successfully fitting 14's with the wilwood kit yet

i will go through some old pics. 14'' equips will need just a lick off the calipers.
most other wheels fit with just an 8mm spacer.

Ill still run the 15" . 14" might be too small for the 4agte. just gotta measure the calipers as mentioned above

I'm assuming you both ran somewhere near a 10mm spacer?

14's are to small for a turbo setup.
15's minimum.

No spacers for me man, 14x8 -15 Wed Tri Spoke.

clay uses spacer for 03s because of bolts, but one piece wheels have some more clearance.

Ill be running steelies or second handies on the track. Don't wanna bust up the good rims

Edit: guessing the O-disk will clear the 15 gonna measure tonight

How much of a 'lick' did you have to take off the calipers?

Ive been rocking 15s cause everyone said that you had to machine a fair bit off the calipers to make 14s clear. But if its only a small amount.......i might have to go wheel shopping :D

well it depends on the wheel...

i've fitted ssr's and hoshinos with no caliper mods only 8mm spacer (less if you get the bolts counter sunk) and as jacob said wed's go straight on, watas probley would too.

the work wheels needed grinding due to the tapered style inner lip that work use, it was about 3mm off the both corners (roughly 50c size) and i gave it 2mm clearence between the wheel and caliper

O-disk 15" no mod?
The a-disk is looking good right now 15x9 -3 all round
