meadan
4th June 2013, 06:51 PM
man those photos and the video make it look so much worse than I remember.

Ill just assume that my arm took most of the hit which kept the yellow corolla alive :P

Though aside from getting hit by a car, it was an awesome weekend. There was a good mix of cars and everyone made it run so smoothly, thanks to everyone making it a nice easy job of manning the pits. The only thing I hope for next time is a bit less mud!

sundee
4th June 2013, 07:29 PM
^^ id like to just say thanks again to all who helped out over the weekend.
could not have made it run so smoothly without you.

The track is great dave, seriously if i could build a drift circuit id take a few notes out of their book.
you don't actually get a good perspective of how much level change is in the track until you walk it.

IMO makes every other track in NSW boring, this is a track you need to drive from start to finish, not just let it go lock to lock and drive it with your foot.

So much fun...

i thought id let a little cat out of the bag so you can all get your crust together....

Drift Fest Zero3 will be between september and november 2013.

There will be an early bird payment special, so keep your eyes pealed for more info in the next few weeks.

oh, ok. Hahaha, I didn't even recognise it was you.....

Iam glad you shared that experience with me.
Popping 2 tyres at the same time (at the fastest part of the sweeper) was a event highlight for me. :) :)
Pretty crazy they both went at the same time, that never really happens.... :D I really had to fight it to keep it on the tarmac :P :P

Just to follow up on my previous post (above)

I have come across this photo of just after both the tyres blew.. (on the fastest part of the sweeper)...
Still alot of speed, still sliding, NO tyres...... hahahaha
I love the look on my face.... ;)

Somehow, those rims survived ok, only cause they are steelies :P

We were nearly going to have a tyre changer at zero2, and you think its all good when your told a professional tyre changer will be there this time....
We are slowly making this event better and better, stuff takes time, but Zero3 will have the kit matt posted up before.
the balance just comes a part of the package...

This all means no scratched rims and no stupid waiting time..

Matt
19th June 2013, 11:54 AM
And a group buy of tyres will be announced in the next couple of days / weeks. Keep your eyes out for that as the pricing should be pretty sweet.

There will be no limit on the numbers of tyres ordered but the more we get the better the deal should be. They won't be shit either, so if you have a preference for a brand let me know.

Settle down mate, it was a question asked politely. Its not my fault that you run at a loss, just as its not your fault i didnt read the t&c's. Lesson learned, I will take more time to read things, and you take a chill pill

Gday Josh, Sorry to say but in the T&C refunds are not available. once payment has been received the spot is yours.
so many people ask for refunds because they pay and then realise they cant get their crap together...
if we do it for one we have to do it for all.
hope you understand, the Screamer restriction is one that we cant budge on, as we know they are stupidly loud and really do nothing for performance anyway.
plumb it back, we are looking at dates for the next event now.

hope to see you their.

Joel

Mount Panorama with Finnish yumps --- now we are talking.
But seriously a private track would be so cool ,the $$$$$$$$$$$ is not the only drama. You would nearly have to build the bloody track in central Australia , because the 1st dick-head to buy a plot next door and put Larma's on it will complain about noise, fumes ,bad hair etc etc etc , and you will only be able to drift Prisus's on ice. And then you will probably have to fight off a aboriginal land claim !!!!!!!!

Jeez what got into me ---- so bloody negative lately ---- Have not had a driving fix since March --- that's probably it ?
