since then i reshelled, cracked the shits with no where to store the car so having to refix the windscrean surround and having the GF make me do other things then fix my car :(

Bit of an update, just spent the last few week collecting LOTS of parts and pissing my girlfriend off by storing them in her parking space in the garage haha, only a few parts needed to get the car ready to assemble. Should have many updates these holidays as i have 2 solid weeks to smash out a car.

bit of an update,
Been on holiday with the girlfriend and haven't had time to do much work,
before i left i mannaged to get all the fuel system put in and the rear end.

ALSO!!! decided that my tax money could be better spent and i got a 4age package and some other goodies!!!!

so to get it ready for raleigh, i need to....
-finnish rebuilding 4age
-install engine and gearbox
-finnish wiring
-finnish making distributor adaptor
-finnish carbie adaptor
-finnish installing interior
-take into work and dyno

atleast ill be working on the car non stop for the next week XD


there are still lots of little parts i need to finnish this too :(

About time i got off my as and got a rolla finnished. The wheels i have almost make it as tuff as when you had the 10s on it. Just need an adjustable pan hard rod badly

thats sick dude, you putting a 16v in one of your shells? whats the specs on the motor going to be?

so far the spec is lots of head work, and stock everything with motorbike carbs.

its just for the time being as im poor. but after this event it will be stripped out again and will get forged pistons and rods, lighter flywheel and 288 cam or so.

ok a bit of an update,

I got more 4age work done,
i got more car done!

i picked up some sigma control arms, Ive got rid of the rotas and have awesome rebels 13's and ill have some used slicks for it soon
also got new cams, valve springs and just need some high comp pistons.
Installed my ma61 seats.

found out last month that the 4age i bought that was advertised as a 7 rib block, turns out to be a 3 rib, i guess thats what happens when you buy at night and put the block in storage, and when you put too much trust into people. i didnt even look at it really lol!
lesson learnt....
so i guess we'll see how well a 3 rib holds up reving to 10k LOL!

bit of a big update, engine is all together, ready to go in tomorrow, have a bit of welding and little bits here and there.
feels good to be on the final stages of just have a car in 1 piece that starts and moves. just need to coilover sleeves, front adjustable shocks to suite, adjustable pan hard rod and just other little things.

i machined up a gear knob, will be making a limited run of these plus some pollyurethane ones, cant wait :)
put a pajero master cyl in and it feels AMAZING!!!!! cant wait to test it.
and notched the shit out of my control arms, now i need to move the rack forward... lol for now ill set up a stopper.

i need a bit of help so far the engine specs are.

20v blacktop block, crank, rods
the rods are going to be shot peened
FA pistons. (wiesco)
all rotating assembally will be balanced.
the head has toda power cams (304 dur, 11mm lift)
stupid 31mm over bored solid lifter conversion.
supertec springs (65lbs at the seat)
std valves
mild port job
ported and relieved oil pump with shim to raise pressure ( i think i made it 3mm?)
std water pump
apr studs everywhere
trd .5mm head gasket
4k distributor modded to 10000 rpm
kehin cvk 41mm carbies
External oil cooler.

what else should i be looking into getting for this engine i want it to last being abused.
i know the 20v rods may be an issue but they are light and i have seen them work before.

the red line will most likely be set to 9k or somewhere near.

Oh and make sure to spend the coin on decent oil lines/relocators/fittings, I cheaped out and they suck, need new shit, plus maybe an under drive pulley set?

put the engine in the car, made 105kw and but couldnt use all the motors potential due to the carbies and ignition setup :(
i cant afford to do the motor justice, there is too many things i need to get to make it %100 bullet proof so its currently for sale :(

on the upside it grew 4 cylinders :P

the motor i built was going to be way to hard in the end, i had to upgrade the carbys, diff, gearbox etc.
my mate was selling a 1uz cheap so it was no brainer, gearbox and diff was free.

so it will have a hilux diff, w52 gearbox and run off standard computer.

just as a small update, Ive been waiting on parts and most have arrived. so all that is left to do is...

finish the diff mounts (nearly done)
tailshaft
wiring
mount airflow meter
fuel system
bash firewall for more "clearence"
notch caster arm bracket because im too cheap to buy oil filter relocation kit lol
and lastly, exhaust


will i need to run larger fuel lines for the 1uz? and what fuel pump should i use?
