Figured I might as well put my build as I am always on this site checking others build threads. I am in the usa about 20 min south of san francisco. A good friend of mine gave me the 86 after he started the build and got in a little over his head. Mainly he was trying to become a fire fighter and as working crazy hours with school. The car sat as a bare shell for probably about 7 years before he decided to give it to me. SO like an idiot I thought it would be so much fun to take something like this on. I was right about the fun part but ended up spending way more than I wanted to and had a few good fights with the finance minister (aka Wife). The goal with car is to have a very fast reliable car that can do a little bit of drifting and be legally driven on the streets. As the car sits right now it has a 4age but soon with in the next 6 months I hope to have the f22 in it. I really hope to make the car capable of low 2 min lap time at thunder hill raceway while being able to drive it to the track and not having to worry about the police giving me a hard time for the motor swap. As you will see form the pics I tried to do as much a s I possibly could in my garage it was a great learning experience but taught me some things are better left to the professionals. Onto the details

The day I picked up the car. I had to buy suspension and the likes just so I could get it on the trailer.

The car was left outside in primer for at least 5 years so it all had to come off. Applied stripper to the whole chassis.

So after tons of work and redoing the arches like 6 times I finally came to a point of being okay with them. Mind you I pretty much learned how to weld and do body work on this car with a ton of help from my good friend.
