oil pressure sensor? the RWD (JDM) alternator bracket is designed for the throttle body side not exhaust side.

need pictures cause we might be talking about 2 different things

Youve got the wrong part....

RWD bracket are on the other side of the motor..... INTAKE side

The oil pressure sensor is on the EXHAUST side....

What Max said, RWD alternator sits on intake side, the Oil pressure sensor is on the intake side, in front of/below exhaust pipe for cyl #1.

Are you talking about the knock sensor?

Are you sure you`re fitting the alternator bracket to the right place?

Please share a picture with us, I for one am really curious here..

well my wiring for my alternator is coming out on the exhaust side (could just be how the guy that did the conversion before i got it off him did it) did have an alternator on the car but due to it being the wrong alternator he custom made a bracket that sat on that side hence why i got a new bracket and another alternator. now a mate of mine told me he ran the alternator on this side with the rwd bracket but just relocated the sensor... so thats what i was looking into

i did have a look on the intake side but the bracket does not look like it will fit so i will give it another go tomorrow and will let u all know how i go if not then i am going to go down the path of just relocating the sensor

have tryed to post pics up numerous times but its not letting me so i will try again tomorrow and Tore i am pretty sure its the oil pressure sensor as its located right next to the oil filter but i could be wrong
