How do *E7* Fender Mirrors Attach?

Hey everyone, I was just wondering; how are the E7 fender mirrors are attached to the car? If you remove them do they leave an ugly hole in the panel? Thanks

Actually i think it might be a bit like bird shit. You know you can't get the ugly stuff off your car, it always sticks like glue!

to mount genuine ones you drill 2 reasonably large holes in the quarters
to mount std ke ones you use 2 tech screws

and you are left with holes on the doors
