Ready for boost or casual cruising!
I've had this supra for about a year and it is curently not being used.
It's naturally aspirated delivering the smooth torque of the 2JZ motor through a nice automatic transmission.
When I first bought the car My intention was to turbocharge the motor but my circumstances changed.
I am a mechanic so The car has had a full top end rebuild, with only genuine gaskets, seals and parts used throughout. Less than 11 months ago (15000km) it had:
New valve stem seals
Cam seals
Intake/exhaust gaskets
Motor oil conditioner flush
Main seals
ARP head studs
Late model turbo head gasket
Larger late model turbo radiator
External trans cooler
Pod filter
Cat back exhaust
New Toyota coolant
New Toyota type 4 trans flush and fill
New diff oil
New timing belt
New cam cover seals
New PCV valve and seal
New distributor o-ring
New rotor button
New distributor cap
Brake fluid flush (dot4) August 2012
New brake rotors/pads (RDA/ TRW) August 2012
New battery
Genuine OEM series 2 bodykit (not fibreglass replica)
The car is mechanically fantastic , with CSA 17" alloys and good federal tyres with more than 80% tread. You will not need to pay for anything but fuel to enjoy this wonderful car. The heater could defrost Antarctica and the aircon will have you throwing a jumper on in summer time !
With the ARP studs and turbo head gasket the motor is ready for somebody to bolt a turbo kit straight on and have some fun !
The car drives very good and I have enjoyed it, sadly its just not being used anymore.
