For those who haven't been following, the engine made 470kw on around 20psi. I have a feeling it is capable of much more than this, but it is being kept lowish to ensure it lasts.
It must have been frustrating for Beau to persist with the FA20 knowing how easy it is to extract good power out of a 2jz.

Yup, he was having trouble seeing out the windscreen because the cabin was too smokey so he has welded up the wheel wells in an effort to stop as much getting in

Bit of old news, but Beau was running with no timing belt covers and it appears a bit of rubber has flicked up and got in between the belt and the gears causing it to jump. Being interference the head will have to come off and valves repaired unfortunately.

Its a bit of bad luck , but I'm sure the guys from JHH racing have seen this before and will have it back on the track in no time.

I'm sure Mitch and the boys at Hypertune will design a cover to prevent this from happening again.

So another year , different wrap and different sponsors.
Here are some of the shots from WTAC, where it ended badly with some heavy damage to the rear drivers wheel.
