disconnect the sensor plug
insert a feeler guage between the throttle stop screw and stop lever
using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between each terminal

looking at the tps plug hole, the terminals are as follows, going in decending order
E2
IDL
VTA
VCC

the following is stock settings

gap between lever nd stop screw | between terminal | Resistance (ohms)
---------------------------------|-------------------|---------------------
0.............................................| VTA - E2.............| 200 - 800
0.35........................................| IDL - E2..............| 2,300 or less
0.59........................................| IDL - E2..............| infinity
Throttle fully OPEN.....................| VTA - E2............| 3,300 - 10,000

^^gap measurements in mm^^
