Reconditioned small port head, Toda springs and shim less bucket conversion. (Perth WA)

Hey Guys

I have a small port head off my spare motor up for sale.

Head did 500kms on an engine and the engine was stripped to do more work. Heads in great shape and has mild port work, water jacket areas are perfect and fire deck is good. Comes with Toda HD valves springs and is fitted with a shim less bucket conversion. A few of the buckets looked a little average so I have 10 new buckets still in the packets.

I'm looking for $500 for the head without the shim less buckets or $750 with the buckets. If the head sells without the buckets I will sell the for $300 on there own. Head has had the springs etc removed for inspection but will be reassembled when purchased.

Looking for local pickup in Perth or will assist with shipping. I will post pics later tonight or can send pics to interested parties.

Port work was only minor on this head to match port the quad throttle body adaptor to the head and a bit around the valve seats.

I will have the complete intake system up for sale too that is a very nice setup. T3 adaptor, silvertop throttles, TWM 65mm volocity stacks all with stainless fastners.

$600 takes the head with shim less bucket conversion as is.

Hi mate I'm pretty keen on the head just working out whether it's worth getting the shim-less buckets as well, I'm running stock smallport ECU and intake so maybe my revs would never be high enough to need them???

The head is setup with the shim less buckets already. It's fine to run shim less buckets with stock everything if you want it just means your able to put big cams and big RPM through the motor if you want.

OK so for the $600 I would have a head I can put my standard cams into and have correct valve clearances ready to go straight onto my block after it gets back from the engine builder? :)

For $600 you would have a complete head yes but I have the springs etc out of it at the moment. Valves buckets etc are in the head in the correct positions so just have to put the springs in and go. All springs collets are in bags clearly labeled ready to go back in.

I've just dropped my 2 spare heads into the local reco shop to be tested to see if they are paper weights or not, could I get some more detail about the reco this head has had done? was it new valves and seats, guides and stem seals or just a regrind, are they genuine valves etc if not what brand and all that jazz
you already mentioned that the TODA valve springs :)

Head was off a low Km's engine hence why the water jacket area is so good and never been welded. Valves were reused and seats with 3 way valve grind, genuine Toyota valve stem seals along with the head been decked. Toda valve springs were brand new along with the shim less buckets. 1 cam has some light scoring and a couple of the buckets had some marks so I brought all new buckets for the side that cam was on.
