help drilling number plate lights JDM style

anyone have measurements of how and where to drill the number plate lights that go on either side of the number plate?

I'm going to be doing this sometime soon. Would be great if we could make up a printable template.
Anyone with a factory jdm hatch willing to help out?

Are you fucking kidding me? Put the centre piece on. Work out where the light sits in the center piece and drill the holes lol. If you are off by a little bit just file the center hole and enlarged the bolt holes. You can be off By like 20mm and still cover the fuckup!

I don't have the centre garnish 29581
I want mine to look like this

I can measure my centre garnish if you like

I could do it, maybe using some thin mdf. Use the plate bolt holes as a reference and mark the other cutouts from the inside with a pen/paint. From there I could work out dimensions again using the number plate bolt holes as the reference, simply a matter of measurements to pinpoint the centre of the required holes.

Yeah timbo if you use your plate mount holes it should be perfect. You could just use paper even to plot it out
Using the center garnish wont work perfectly as there is a bit of space inside where the plate lights sit, and elongated holes aren't ideal

Really? Do it once do it right? Not everyone sees an ADM shell like a disposable piece of shit. Its like guessing the clutch master position on a KE70... Its too easy to do it properly, so why look like rough dumbkant chewing on grass talking about how you love the JDM look but couldn't be fucked replicating it properly. Bite the bullet and live with bumper mounted number plate lights or make it look genuine, OR buy a japanese shell!
