Hey,

Ive just recently installed my jdm t-series disc brake rear end into my ke70, added all my AJPS gear, really happy, but im having trouble finding the correct superpro D bush for the rear sway bar, the sway bar is a 16mm item from AJPS/signature swaybars but can use a 17mm ID bush and trim it down to suit the sway bar, the bush i originally brought was a SPF0873-17K but its too large to fit into the sway bar D bracket that attaches to the diff.

Ive done some research on here and google but cant find anyone who's found the correct superpro bush.

Obviously theres different sized sway bar D brackets.

My question is, does anyone know the smaller superpro D bush part number to suit this diff?

My ke70 borgy that i removed has larger D brackets that will take the larger SPF0873-17K bush but the D bracket attaches onto the diff differently than my t-series. Dont really want to unpick the sway bar diff mounts and attach to my new t-series.

Any help is much appreciated.

Measure the bracket LxWxH and i'll look it up at work for you.

Yea no worries will do that when i return from work in two weeks. Thanks.

Can also take these measurements and enter them into the superpro website.
Which i didnt get around to doing before returning to work.

In the mean time i wondered if anyone else had ordered the correct bush for the smaller D bracket.
And had a part number.

Yea i brought all my parts including superpro bush kit through David at AJPS but after talking with him we couldnt determine the correct bush.

I think easiest way is going to be to measure the bracket and enter that into superpro website and then order that bush and give it a go.

Just thought maybe someone here had had the similar issue with there jdm t-series.

So ended up using SPF1690 which comes in 17mm, 18mm, 20mm sway bar sizes. I had a 16mm AJPS/signature rear sway bar so used 17mm SPF1690-17K, and trimmed it down to suit 16mm sway bar.

http://www.superpro.com.au/superpro-parts/SPF1690-_%20_K

Had to trim the edges on the base of the bush to sit flat on sway bar D bracket mount on diff. Pictures supplied below.

The bush does have 1mm either side of D bracket when mounted on the diff. But clamps up tight when torqued down. And hasn't moved yet.

I also had to grind my bushes down to suit stock jdm ae86 rear swaybar. Only usa stock the correct size.
