Car: AE71
Engine: Smallport 4AGZE with SC12 supercharger
Problem: Connection of vac lines between ABV, fuel pressure regulator, inlet manifold and throttle body.
Hi guys, ive had to replace the SC12 on my GZE but I have come to a standstill because of the vac lines.
In the picture I have drawn on reference points.
The purple lines are the vac hoses that are unconnected. One end starts at the fuel pressure regulator, tees off to the boost gauge (labelled PSI) and there is another Tee with 2 ends still to be connected. The other purple line is representing another vac hose that is not connected to anything, yet should be.
In red, I have labelled each point that is yet to be connected/blocked. The 5 points are:
1 - An angled barb coming off the side of the top of the ABV
2 - A longer, straight barb coming off the side of the ABV
3 - An upward-facing barb on the front side of the inlet manifold
The following two are labelled as they are labelled on the throttle body itself.
P - A downward-facing barb closest to the front of the motor on the throttle body
R - A barb that is downward-facing in the middle of the throttle body.
(there is another barb, which is the rear-most one facing upward and is labelled Q, but I know where that one goes)
One of these barbs (P or R) was previously blocked off, but im not sure which one it was.
I have been searching for hours but cant come up with any conclusive images or diagrams. Any help would be appreciated.
Vince.
