Hi Guys,
As stated in the title, For sale is my RT140 (correct me if I'm wrong on this one) Corona Avante.
It's been a good car to me for the last 4 or 5 years and I've never been rough with it at all, but it's not running all that well at the moment so I've decided to change to a smaller more economical car. It has an automatic transmission with 278,000KMs on the clock.
I'm going to split it up into good and not so good:
[THE GOOD BITS]
Body is in fantastic condition, no rust at all as far as I can tell and no damage to any of the paint/panels.
Stock alloys (1 missing a centre cap, someone stole it when it was parked) with near-new retreads (only a few hundred KMs on them)
22RE engine, I have spent around $3000 on this engine over the last few years.
Radiator replaced 2 or 3 years ago.
Interior is good, all original with CD player and non smoking owner. All the trim etc. is undamaged and in good condition.
Disk brake rear diff with zero whine!
Has AC which worked perfectly until the mechanics removed the engine to do work and let all the gas out. Needs gas now but everything is there and working aside this.
All the Avante trim bits.
All the suspension/steering components seem to be in order, no knocking or noises from any of that.
[THE NOT SO GOOD BITS]
Suspected blown head gasket; losing coolant. It still runs and drives. Other than this the engine and running gear all seem to be in very good condition. to someone who knows what they're doing this is an inexpensive fix.
Front right indicator cover cracked/missing from where someone swiped me, also some slight marks on the front bumper nearby.
No rego.
Could use a clean but I don't have time to do it.
There are a lot of possibilities for this car.
I'm after $1100, offers considered.
