IMHO go with a standard type color. Gold will suit a black car, or even a bronze color.
Green seems to be the going trend now days though, seems that its the new in thing and more and more people are doing. Not really my cup of tea though.

i reckon white would be sweet with polished lips on a black car
i saw a meshies colour scheme today that ive never seen, not sure it would work for your car but ill share anyway
was on an audi, the lips were a polished white and the centres were jet black, looked awesome

Totally depends on the look of the car

Don't go fluro green. Too many people have already done it, (well, 2 that I can think of lol, but that's enough.) Fluro pink could look alright, if you didn't mind having pink wheels.
Otherwise black or gold, I say.

On a black car like that you can't go wrong with bronze. I saw a photo with a lineup of Black Limited's somewhere and they all had bronze rims.

yeh that green looks cool in a photo (seen it around YAJ somewhere) but on the black trueno on the meshies it would look a bit odd. would be fine on an mk2 but a mesh hmmmm... the face is too big for that much colour me thinks, just my opinion though.
i have to vote bronze/dusty gold. would look so so good.
ps specs on those wheels plz

Bright colours would look gay, IMO.
Black would lose the cool look of meshies.
White would show up too much dirt and brake dust.
Silver & gold are OK.
Bronze or copper would look very classy on a black car with polished rims.
