stripped it down to nothing, removed sound deadening, painted 2pac inside satin black and outside in a metallic grey with green pearl (same colour as vf maloo). Replaced all bushes, rebuilt everything, jdm disc rear, w58 gearbox niteparts bh, button clutch... bc golds all round, fitted intercooler, new radiator.

Hope to have her on the road before 2016. Still have to build the motor and rewire car. Have an adaptronic ecu ready to go. I'm an auto electrician so will probably go all out on the rewire.

Oh wow this thing lives, I almost bought this when it was still registered/running.

Looks awesome considering the condition it came from

Cool, yeah it was a bare rolling shell by the time I got to it. Had minimal rust and panels were good though so thought it'd b a good base. Was it still a 4ac when it was on the road?

Pretty sure it was 4AC, cant 100% remember was around 2010 aha. Had some tein coilovers, straight front and rear bars and some other small things I wanted for mine at the time

What bonnet are you running on that standard one or DMAX style for example. Notice you have same radiator as me and they sit high so was wondering about clearence

Damoss
10th February 2015, 09:02 AM
Yeah I'm a bit worried about that too. I've ordered a saibon carbon bonnet but it's going to take 8 weeks to arrive. Worst case I'll have to get a remote inline filler cap and block off the original

Work has been busy lately so 86 has been neglected. However, all windows are in!!! And mirrors fitted. All plastics that I plan to run are in too. Starting to look like a car.

Decided to go with a Jdm tank, Vl turbo lift pump and Bosch 044 main pump. Thanks mclevin for the Jdm tank. Was pretty rusty when I got it so decided to attack it on a molecular level. Filled it up with sodium carbonate and water, put the anode in the lid and hooked up the old Arlec battery charger. First time I've tried this so will take lots of pics as it progresses
