I just bought a 4agte engine and it has these on it, not sure what they are. Im guessing their sensors but im really not sure. Also, I cant find connections for them to the loom.
They are on the intake and the cooling system at the back of the block.
Any help will be much appreciated.3471534716

Yes they are sensors, the two on the rear of the engine are coolant temperature (the green one is factory, the other isn't), and the one on the intake is intake temperature which looks like someone has added. Did the engine come with a loom?

The second sensor on the rear water housing would be a temperature sensor for a gauge, the green one is for the ECU IIRC.

Yeah it was definitely added, havent seen it on anyone else's. The engine did come with a loom, but like previously mentioned i cant see any connects for them. What would the connections/plugs to the loom look like?

Could they both be for guages? is that why i cant find connects on the loom?

Yeah, they would be for gauges with just one wire connector. Definitely need the 2 pin Coolant temp for the ECU, should be on the harness somewhere.

The plug for those added sensors will look like a factory oil pressure light or the dash water temp sensor. Basically it is small and rectangular, and it slides over the sensor flat, like on it's belly, as apposed to plugging onto it. I'll take you a photo later if I remember.

Should look like this, will slide onto the sensor
