hi,
im just looking for a bit of info,
im doing some research into fitting a 20v 4ag engine into my corona.
am i missing anything here ,parts needed :
engine,ecu,loom,rwd gearbox,clutch flywheel,
do i need Impulse water line kit & distributor relocation kit similar to that thats used in ae86 conversions?
will i need to change fueling to efi?
also will i need to change stock rear axle.

In short yes to everything you asked.

Dizzy relocation kit or run after market ecu / coil packs. Efi fuel system yes, needed. Water kit and dizzy , make sure you check out the sq engineering kits as they are great quality and due to the low AU $ they are quite cheap for the quality you get.

Stock rear axle should be fine.

The AT140 has a lot more room behind the cylinder head than a KE70 / AE86. If you're lucky you might be able to get away with massaging the firewall rather than relocating the dizzy.

If the car is manual the standard gearbox is a T40/T50 so it will bolt straight up but the clutch fork will be on the passenger's side..

For EFI you might be able to grab the tank and lines from a higher spec t140 Corona.

Diff will be T series, basically same as AE86 but drum brakes.

some great info there lads,
thanks very much, really appreciate it.the car is standard manual with T40 box.
i will more than likely swap it for a T50,would the T40 work though?with the clutch fork on passenger side...
i taught it was different axle,so thats some good news.does that mean ae86 lsd will fit into it?
what manifold is generally used for these swaps?i presume the 16v would be restrictiive...would the 20v work ?
thanks again
