Ae86 adm air con gurus needed

problem - NEED TO KNOW WHAT THE SWITCHES?? IN THE COMPRESSOR DO?

personal situation (if applicable)- getting old, pulling out what little hair i have left.

Hi i want to know what the 2 electrical things do in the ae93 compressor.

i believe the side unit is a overheat sensor

i am guessing the top unit is a high pressure switch

Hola.

Looks like the one with the red circle is a pressure cut-off switch so the compressor clutch disengages when it reaches the normal high end of its cycle.

Can't really make out where that second picture is in relation to the first though so thats making it a little difficult to id it, behind the comp clutch somewhere? Kinda just guesstimating, i have no specific knowledge of the ae93 system.

When all else fails, consult the wiring diagram.

I know if u put 12v into the black /white wire you the compressor will run. The high pressure switch normally cuts the power to the on / off switch of the a/c.

Sorry it isn't much help, but i do have the ae92 wiring diagrams if you are chasing them?

From the ecu side, it expects 12v fed into the a/c pin whilst the air conditioning is running.
