I'm having trouble with installing door lock.

Hey all, I'm having trouble with installing my door lock in my ae86, can someone giv me a how to.

First, the door card or door trim has to come off. To get that off you need to take the window winder off (use a rag) and unscrew the inside door latch (phillips screw), and unscrew the big screws in the door handle.

To take the door lock off (the bit you put the key in), you need to slide that big C-clip, you may need multigrips or long nose plyers. It is also connected to a metal rod, only a plastic clip is holding it.

You will probably need a torch or good light to see whats going on in their.
