Hi guys i have an ae86 trueno with a 4age with itb.
When it was wamer it would start with a little throttle. But now in the colder months it wont start unless i give it a little start your bastard.
But once its started or the car is warm it starts fine every time. Leave it over night and it wont go again

Also i have just fitted some powercraft headers and had to remove the dizzy is it possible its not in the same place and is now harder to start now its colder???

Thanks in advance.

Yes if you have advanced the timing accidently by a lot that will make it hard to start.

Replace you spark plugs too if they havent been done for a while.

Plugs have been replaced and if the dizzy is out its only by 1mm at most as i marked everything and it doesn't ping when you rev it right out. It also dosent pop through exhaust or the intake

what ecu are you running? I'd think your cold start tune needs adjusting. If this were a stock ecu I'd be checking the sta wire is connected.

Make sure the temp sensor isn't stuffed , but yeah a tune should sort it out
