Hi, I'm keen to change to a standard rack and power steering arms for my ae86r as its a bit too different in feel from my daily ra65 and I want a similar feel between cars so I dont have to adapt and re adapt each drive.
Im happy to either sell my rebuilt quaife rack and pinion or to swap it for power steering arms with a cash adjustment.
So its $360 for the quaife rack and pinion all assembled and ready to go. Or its $200 plus a vgc pair of ae86 power steering arms.
Only issue is the left side telescopic bush could be better, its got a little play so if you were fussy you could change that but its not so bad and in fact does not affect the steering precision in any way. I tried to source a new one when i rebuilt it but they were unavailable. Quaife rack is about 5 years old and has seen about 40000klms. No play its really nice feeling.
