Thermostat housing - alternative?

I need a thermostat housing. I bought one new in ~2005 but lent it to a mate. It's no longer in production. Is there a thermostat housing off another model that comes close?

I can weld aluminium, or make the whole thing from scratch if needed, but would rather not for times sake.

Hi, original specification AE86. 4A-GE, RWD. Normal waterpump (which I have), and thermostat housings (missing, lent to a mate). I think the distance between the holes is about 47mm?

(Also after a alternator bracket).

Shows the OE part number for cross reference.

An AE92 4AG housing will fit even though it's longer and it has a boss for a fan switch.
