KE70 Panel Van ebay chrome bars - Do them suit / fit AE71 Panel Van?

Hi all,

Looking at going chrome front bar on my AE71 Pano.
I have an 84 model with normal slant front plastic type bar.
Actually finding the AE71 chrome bar has proved challenging, but I know it will be expensive if I do track one down.
I have been looking at these on Ebay;-

But as you can see, they are for Flat front KE70 Panel Van and the bar has a definite curve too it.
Has anyone here seen or done this type of bar conversion on slant front?
Or is there a better option out there in aftermarket land that bolts up?

I found this old post with pictures of the bars, and the front bar looks pretty similar to the KE70 Panel Van bar pictured above.

Not too worried about mounting brackets, just the curve / fitment up to a slant front.

I've had an offer to test fit a genuine KE70 Panelvan font bar up to my AE71 Panelvan.
Unfortunately I have to take my Panelvan across town, so this won't happen until I have rego, so still a little wayz off.
But I will take photo's and post the findings up here when this happens.
Still, if anyone who has a slant front with a chrome front bar is reading this, how did you go about it?
I did see a slant front with an early Gemini front bar modded to fit, and it looked ok.

Also. I have been looking on Trademe.co.nz as they had the slant front metal bars, but not holding my breath.

KE70 won't fit nicely, fork out for a genuine 71 chrome bar if you wanna do it
