Please measure for me Front door glass as per picture below

Hi guys,

I need some help. I wish to know where this metal frame thing sits on the bottom of the front door glass. [It's a long story how I arrived at this point.] But the only glass that I have doesn't have the metal thing attached to it. I have managed to it, although I can't figure out precisely where to glue it.

Please help.
