G'day new member, glad to be here.

I've got a few 4AGE motors here to go into an AW11 mr2 and I'm looking to put some twin webbers onto it to really make it scream.
I've picked up a Hyperpak Computer Ignition control pack.
Is anyone on here familiar with these control units and can give me any information on them.

I'll be doing some research throughout the forum, just thought maybe someone could give me some quick information or a quick link to the control unit and to moving to a carbureted setup on a 4AGE.

Hi Cruza,

I run twin 44mm Mikunis on my 4age.

Your basic list of needs is:
Carbs
Carb manifold
Linkages
Fuel pump
Injector block off
Something for timing and vac advance.

I don't have information on the Hyperpak, they're pretty old tech - but Scorcher in VIC make 4age distributors to suit carb applications. They're about $600 but worth the money. Fit and forget.

The other main thing you will see over and over is fuel setup.
I originally had a pressure reg - however when I had my car tuned, was advised to bin it. The carbs regulate their own fuel, and a low pressure high volume pump within the 4-7psi range will ensure you're not getting too much pressure.
