Sup homies.
Im chillin in Tokyo right now.
Just thought id tell you how awesome it is. Went to ORC Kart Track, met Hoshino, went to D1SL at Nikko and got my entry ticket signed by Keiichi and got a photo with him, met Daijiro and got to watch the drifting from next to the judging stand on turn one.
Met up with Andy (used to have a Hachi) and Luke (also used to have a hachi) and went to Haruna, Akagi and another Touge about 6 hours north of Tokyo with Andy, a Scottish bloke who drifts a JZX100 at D1 level (hes known as the best Gaijin drifter in Japan).
The last touge we went to was fucking extreme, the gutters were over flowing with rubber and there is NO cops, Luke also got an in car Video of the best touge in the world This one mountain had 4 touge sections). Even saw some Kei cars doin downhill FF drifting at Akagi.
Its fucking hot and humid expensive but so awesome.
All the Hachis Ive seen are so fucking mint but driven by old cunts.
I got a fuckload of photos to show you gangsters when I got back and Im already planning my next trip back for winter. In winter the drifters buy Kei cars and snow tires and go FF drifting on the touge, sounds fucking rad.
The porn sucks cos all the penetration is blurred out, the beer is awesome and can be got from 7/11 and the girls are cute as fuck.
Peace out gangsters
Damien.

i've heard that you cant bring them into the country.
the truth in that statement depends on how much you trust whats posted on AE86DC.
however if you can i dont think a nickle would be quite enough for the risk involved in engaging in criminal activity (theft) in a foreign country.

Not as many trinkets as I thought.
My camera battery ran out.
I brought $3000 with me, and Im almost out of coin. But I did spend about 36,000¥on clothes/shoes.
Food is expensivem especially beef and i pretty much buy a drink from every vending machine I see.
You wouldnt believe how rad it is to be able to get beers from a vending machine on the side of the street. And how expensive it can become if you have no problems drinking before 11am....
Smokes are 300¥which sounds cheap, but the exchange rate sucks massive ball sacks right now.
I got some cool stickers, but only enough for myself, as Im starting to feel the pinch. If its this bad here Id hate to see how much Im gonna spend in Europe. Ill also be heading to drift events there too.
See you soon kents.
Peace out
Damien

but the exchange rate sucks massive ball sacks right now.
Try spending 2 months snowboarding there when the exchange rate was 55yen to the dollar
75 aint so bad
also depends where you go
ask for nomihadi deals when you go to izakayas, all you can eat all you can drink for usually 2-3 hours for about 3000yen.

Because you would be stealing government property, it's serious enough for decent trouble from the authoritiiii :peek:
I've heard it happens a lot and 'they' really don't like it.

It's a district in Tokyo with lots of bars.... heaps of foreigeners go there though.
Some of the bars have a pretty bad reputation though :P
patience
20th July 2009, 11:04 AM
haha yea, the street is lined with Nigerian hustlers for the bars. They all chat you up into going up into their bar, pretty aggressive sometimes, tell you theres heaps of girls etc, most of the time they end up being hostess bars where you can end up with a $1000 bill at the end of the night like a few dumb aussies we met in Niseko...

Nah we were pre-warned about Roppongi.
And I was wearing a Rillakuma onesy.....
