ma61 (80's supra) seat are freakin AWESOM! adjustable and cheap, they are a bit heavy though. the front 2 bolts line up perfect the back 2 are only slightly off.

otherwise as mentioned, try your luck and sit in some to see how they are. ke/ae are 'tall' cars so most bucket seats will sit u quite low down in the car.

seats are extremely personal, as are steering wheels etc, try velo (very reputable aussie manufacturer, available thru BuddyParts) Bride wont fit anyone with a 38+ waist but extremely good quality, sparco are excellent quality as are recaro,

my step mum has a swift gti and the seats are great.
I have sw20 mr2's in my 86 they are a step up from the gti seats and you should be able to get a pair for around 250 ish.

if you really after racing buckets though id get a velo, ive noticed an increasing trend with these seats and as minihorse said they are available through buddy parts.

Brides look fat in ke70s. However they would have to be the most expensive around.
For a bride + an ae86 rail that you have to modify your looking at around 1200 bucks. Depending on what bride you get. If ur after something cheap but quality get a sparco. I picked up mine for 250 with a rail to suit a ke70. Depends on your budget, waistline, and usage.

i put ae86 seats in my ae71, they sit alot lower and hold u better (then the std ae71/ke70 seats)
3/4 bolts align up, the other bolt was 2mm off

i have also checked the swift seats while i was at the pickapart and they dont bolt up

and if you cannot afford any of the above options - cut the springs in the bottom of your stock seat for ultimate ghetto bucket!

stuff a cushion under your ass for comfort and then pull it out when you needz teh Gh337o modzltof.

Definitely agree there on AE86 seats being better than AE71/KE70 seats. The JDM AE86 seats are quite a bit better again than the ADM ones.
