i thought about doing this sort of thing, but decided against it as i love the look of the head lights and surrounds. Good on ya for giving it a try its personal preference if you would keep it that way or not, but i wouldnt. I'm in the process of making a custom grill, basically taking 2 standard ke70 grills gutting them to just leave the outer frame, cutting and shutting the 2 to make 1 longer grill. then bracing it and then using tight black mesh to complete the look. its wider as im building a wide body front end.

eh, too many gaps and stuff. i think you should maybe join two standard grills or just run a fine black mesh

The problem is the design of the grill itself, its too chicken wire like, which makes it look ghetto. try doubling the amount of horizontal fins and see if you still like it.

I have a better idea than that grill. Sharknose the bonnet and the fender a bit, and bring the light forward, have 2 each side.
