AE86, 20v, 6 speed manual etc etc............I am old as well!!!

Also have my daily with them and my bike, all full comp, bike is very modified and have insured for quite a bit, no dramas, I think age helps!

500 is cheap as for full comp!
and age does help and the more history you got with any insurance
unless u claim alot and seem to be in a fair few acciedents

I find that with ae86s and other older modified corollas that are valuable, it's always better to be careful those first few years and just be sensible on the street rather then paying huge amounts of dollars on full comp insurance.
And then if you keep it or get another nice car, get full comp when you are 25. With our cars, the difference between $1500 for full comp vs $300 third party for a few years is actually another car.

ive never owned a decent enough car to bother with comp insurance. 3rd party all the way for another year+ until im 25.

yep exactly, 3 more years til I'm 25 but I'm quite low now; only one traffic offence in 5 years and no claims.

its gonna be high for me. 1 loss of licence and 1 claim (i had 3rd party + fire/theft. i claimed theft). its only gonna be for a crappy ae86 anyways

But is that ae86 special enough to warrant paying comp for, is the question ;)

the only thing in your life you will pay top dollar for and will be to scared to use it.

make sure you get and agreed value, if your going full comp. other wise they will ass fuck you and only pay out red book value if your lucky.

insurance is a rip off..... and stay away from sgic, aami, cgu and any of there affiliate sister companies. read the fine print there all connected.

RAA, allianz, Shannon's would be the best of the bunch as paying out for things.

this is my personal experience from working in the crash game

unfortunately only just cars offers insurance to modded cars like alot of the ones on here.
And they are aami affiliated.

Never thought I would here myself say this but can't wait til I'm 25.
Hopefully I can get shannons a year younger or something.
