why bother just weld it if its adm cos frankly s series are shit anyway.
And if it's Jdm get an LSD or get the standard LSD reco'd.

i remember seeing a place in the US that manufactured spools for both s and t series. This is the site http://www.dwarfcarproducts.com/gears.html
http://www.predatorraceproducts.com/servlet/the-Drivetrain-cln-Spools/Categories
. I'd take Cerby86's advice anyway

only if you enjoy high voltage electric shocks and burning your hands on the hot cables :P

haha! and it's still about 3 to 4 hundred times better than a supercheap auto arc welder. But yeah if it's an ADM S series diff, just weld it and save the cash for a T series diff. I ended up getting a cheap RA60 diff at the wreckers for 150 bucks.

i suppose you way as well, though make sure you don't feck the crown wheel in the t series since you still need that when you go lsd.
Having said all this I seriously doubt that this guy has a JDM ae86 since he is asking about putting a 20V in an ae71.
So rather than trying to buy a sprinter diff, I would strongly suggest you find the diff out of a series 2 T18. Since this is a T series and bolts in pretty much (you have to use half the t 18 tailshaft.
Or if you have more cash. Chase up a JDM T series which will mostly have disc brakes and an lsd.
