    Default Marc's Sprinter

    Hi,

I thought it was about time to put my car up.
I've had it for a bit over a year now and have slowly been putting parts into it.

When I got it it was just a stock 1983 ADM sprinter. It had basically only one owner since new and only 93 000km but it was resprayed.

I have to thank Jay & Nick from Buddyparts who have supplied and fitted basically everything.

    Engine:
    - TRD head gasket
    - 304 8.5mm lift inlet cam
    - 288 8.5mm lift exhaust cam
    - HKS valve springs
    - adjustable cam gears
    - heaps of porting
    - Jasma extractors
    - 2" exhaust system
    - Adaptronic ECU

    Suspension:
    - TRD 7.5kg springs front
    - TRD 6kg springs rear
    - KYB shocks front
    - TRD green adjustable shocks rear
    - panhard rod

    - Jap diff with LSD and disc brakes

    Wheels:
    - 14x6.5 watanabe wheels
    - 185 re001 tires

    Here's some pic's.

    When i frist got it.

Want to upgrade the ajps steerer to a nardi.

Imageshack keeps stuffing up the pics.

    How it sits now.

No, those skids arent from me, I only realised they were there when I was looking at the photos.

I'll have more updates tomorrow hopefully as the car is off to Buddyparts for a new engine

    Cheers
    Marc

The new engine is basically built and ready to go in.

    Specs are:
    - TRD head gasket
    - 304 8.5mm lift inlet cam
    - 288 8.5mm lift exhaust cam
    - HKS valve springs
    - adjustable cam gears
    - heaps of porting

You might know this engine from Jay's green coupe. He ran carbs but i will run it with injection and a standard manifold.
I've got an Adpatronic in the way and will hopefully be installed on friday.

nice new engine what sort of comp are you running for such big cams and running such a long duration will u still try and run the stock booster or are you going to run a boosterless master cylinder?

BTW this thing is so mint mind sharing how much you picked it up for?
    the dyno pull to 300rwkw

BT20v is making 300rwkw like i said i would without nitrous so now its time for some spray and see if she will run a 10s or less

i remember this car. cost you a pretty penny for a stocker but you know and i know it was definately worth it for something so clean.

with cams as big as you are going to use i would suggest using quads. the intake is going to hold you bad a fair bit
