    Default 4age turbo questions

    hey guys i have a 4age 16v jdm bigport. The car is going to be used as a streeter/ track car. The plan is to turbo it and run 10 or so psi of boost (not sure yet) so i just need some help with a few things.. this is what i have so far or will have.. hks cams 256 and 264, adjustible cam gears,t-25 turbo/ fitting kit and going to buy an adaptronic ecu..now for the questions

    what pistons should i use and where do i ge them?
    what rings should i use and where do i get them?
    what conrods do i use and where to i get them?
    will the stock crank hold up?
    where do i get a stud kit from?
    what head work should i get and what valve springs?
    will the stock oil pump hold up?
    should i get an oil cooler?
    what injectors should i get?

    thats all i can think of atm, so if anyone has built one or has any ideas i would be greatful to hear your ideas

    what rings should i use and where do i get them? genuine toyota
    what conrods do i use and where to i get them? gze, second hand or toyota maybe..
    will the stock crank hold up? i've only seen one 4age crank and it's expensive upgrading them so i think stock should be fine
    where do i get a stud kit from? bursons
    what head work should i get and what valve springs? don't need head work, when it comes to turbo motors i wouldn't waste my time with that sorta thing
    will the stock oil pump hold up? haven't heard of many of them failing
    should i get an oil cooler? if you're oging to strain it, can get em pretty cheap now, should if you can afford to
    what injectors should i get? could get away with gze injectors i think

    microtechs also go well with these engines, cheap as too,

    none of this i know first hand but i have a fe wmates with turbo rollas and have read up on them a lot

    yea thanks mate, i have been told to use gze pistons and rods but someone sed they won't bolt up to a bigport crank, so im not to sure...if someone could clear this up for me that would be sweet...

    it depends whether you get gze rods from a bigport or smallport gzes from an aw11 are bigport, the others are smallport but hell i might be wrong

    do you know what car has a gze bigport in them?

    aw11 mr2. the smallports are from ae92's and ae101's

    just bolt the turbo kit onto the stock bigport, add ze injectors, ecu and a good tune

    works fine

    ae92 afm dli were bigport.

    gze pistons will work but are only 20mm wrist pins
    gze rods a good but are only 20mm wrist pins 42mm crank (ae92/aw11 ones are the big ones) (all gze rods are 20/42 only early 4a's were 18/40)
    id use chrome top ring (hastings rings or something)
    late model gze pump
    stock cranks are bullet proof
    you can stick with stock springs but depends on what lift your cams have.
    gze 365 injectors are fine but if you want more boost go the 440cc 7mgte injectors
    basicly what you want is a stock gze with a turbo and a microtech or adaptronic
