looked at this glen. Is definatley a good option, but places the engine WELL forward and depending on gearbox, wseries chosen, your shifter would be forward as well. They also sit a bit high in the 86 bay from memory also. You would need a custom swaybar for the 2s mounts to work also ... not a big deal., just something to think off

    I was lucky,

i used my 27mm selby sway bar, fitted the engine a fair bit back, just had to cut a bit of the tunnel to make it fit better and also move the handbrake to the left to clear the shifter.

Bonnet closes without the cam cover on as that adds around 20mm to the top of the engine.

its the depth of the sump setup.

and the height of the engine cover.

dry sump, modified crossmember and no cover and i recon you could get it low as a 4a maybe

it doesnt make too much of a difference, and any weight gain up high can be more than offset with a lighter bonnet

The motor itself is just alot taller then the 4a,

The lower you go the more parts you have to change.

    1. Sump will sit to low, needed to shave this will also expose your fly wheel so a new plate will be needed to cover that.

    2. Engine will most like sit on your steering rack, so pretty extensive mods to work around that.

    3. raising the bonnet screws at the front will clear this problem or just run without the cam cover so you dont attract to much attention as when the cam cover is removed it looks like a standard motor.

Just play around as everyone is different.
