Its been ages since an update due to seriously f#$king my shoulder putting the engine in back in January. I picked up another JDM 4age today with all the bits i need to finish my engine off and get it running, so time to start putting some serious hours into getting the thing going.

I have been stupidly busy this last week everything is now in and running, the car has been wheel aligned and the exhaust is all done. The only problem is it hunting at idle when its warm, so i have to go through the list of things to check tomorrow. I took it for a quick drive yesterday and it handles awesome but a lot different to what it was when i last drove it, the steering is so much faster so keen for drift prac on the 28th its been way to long since i've been out.

Going to watch my workmates valiant at the drags the day after drift prac it should do an 11 sec 1/4

Well today has been interesting, it was just a bad cold start unit causing the idle problems so i just swapped throttle bodies. I had it running for about 1/2 hour when i decided to take it for a drive, i made it about 2 metres down the road when it stalled and now it won start again. I seem to have power to the coil but no spark coming out

Check wiring around the dizzy, brown earth wires connected tight and power to the ecu... usually dizzy wiring or earth wires.

Thanks Matt, I just went outside and checked the dizzy again. The Black wire on the plug on the loom side has snapped off at the base of the plug. I will take a plug off one of my other looms tomorrow and see what happens.

Well the car made it through a full practice with no problems part from the exhaust coming loose. The car drives so much different now compared to when I last drove it, I love the modded knuckles. The only real problem was the wheel alignment I should have given the car less castor, It wanted to straighten all the time. I didnt get that many runs in due to the massive amount of people in group 2, but it was good to get back in the car after nearly 2 years.

Some in car vids, quality isnt great because of low light.
