Dreny is correct, ae71 is no poor man's car.
Thanks for the love, everyone. Wouldn't mind getting a few pics with a good camera soon.

Nice one sven.
When you're getting photos done, let me know, I'd be keen to snap some, it's been a while.
Spoiler is hot, exhaust is not!
Watchu talkin' bout, exhaust is ultimate
Spoiler's cool as dude![]()
Haha, that exhaust is my garage tuning special keep-the-grandmas-happy quiet one. I have a flange after diff for superquick tip changes.
Thanks, Oscar. Will holla when street testing happens.
Ok, things have been pretty slow with Elmsworth until now.
A lot has happened since I last updated this thread such as I bought an e30 325i for a daily/hills car, I'm off to Japan matsuri in November, and I get my license back this week.
Up until a week ago, I spent all my car time on the corona ute which I finished and it looked like this.
But realistically I have no-where to drive it, it would cost me more than the car's worth to get it there and It wasn't very well setup (aka choppies and cressida control arms meant it felt like steering a house'. So I sold it for $500, which was still a profit after all the material and gear used in the process. Luckily, I know the new owner well and it's got a pretty unique future ahead.
Getting onto other things, I still haven't been able to start the corolla because of bad earthing/wiring, so I'm wiring it all up pro town again. At least I know all the bridges and connections are correct as it went so well at Mallala. I'm relocating the wiring to under dash where I will have a switchboard for easy access and configuration. Pics.
Stay tuned, I want to drive this before Japan![]()
sven i have a somewhat decent dslr, hit me up this weekend and i'll bring the panno down and we'll take some pics?
The goat is awesome!
Just spend the last hour reading this build thread. Early Sven made me lol.
Anyway, corolla is done. 4age runs well but needs a tune to get it perfect. It has rego and is driven on quiet nights. (Yes, as is)
Expect to see this at tracks soon.
Not selling anymore? sweet! Good on ya for getting back into it. (I liked it better when the meshies had satin black dish)
