front seats folded down and moved all the way forward, you will need to have both doors fully open aswell, feed the main hoop in and roughly get it in place, bolt the rest of the cage up before you start atacking bolts
hey guys.
ive got a bonds 4point half cage which im currently trying to fit into my ae.
problem is, my car has a sunroof and the roof lining/sunroof rails sit lower than a roof without a sunroof.
if anyone can help give me some tips as i cant get the cage to sit properly against the pillars.
do i just have to yank it into place?
also which is the best way to bring in the half cage, through the doors? the hatch etc.
thanks in advance.

thats the thing, lets say that the pillars are directly at a 90degree angle with the floor, the best that i can line the cage up would be 70 degrees.
:s
im thinking of just getting a motorbike tie down, tieing it to the top of the half cage and to my harness bar, and just tightening it until it just forces its way to sit right... but that would fuck up my roof lining soo hard....
leave that unless nothing else works... lol
Or have half an inch cut out of main bars.
Probably only cost $50 at most for cut then weld
yeah but the second he does that he will go to put it back in and realise he had it backwards or something and it doesn't fit properly anymore![]()

two kinds of 86 cages..........Sunroof and non Sunroof, you will have to get the legs shortened to fit correctly
