that looks great wally, but almost passable as coming from factory like that, good work. the mystery engine is a 20v, the spark plub cover is off, you can most certainly tell by the way the belts are arranged... unless the 3s is exactly the same.... check ae71 neo's eninge, see how the plug cover is off.. look very similar

i dont rate the ve shape at all. although i do theink it suits the wagons.
how's the rear visibilty in the utes with the hard top? seen a few and it looks terrible

I drove the crewman when they 1st came out and the visibility was sh1t.

motor magazine think that the rear vis is basically the worst of any readily available car, and said the maloo was silly, just silly. Decent car though, just make good use of your warranty rights etc. I was thinking of the same lines of getting a ute in that regard, my brother has an xr6 and stuff, few mates have got vz ve utes, and they couldnt do what i needed, just too much front over hang, too low, too vague steering. I ended up getting a hilux and saved a load of money, when it gets older and out of warranty ill probably put a supra rear cradle in and turbo the 3rz, some nice wheels, get it lower, leave the alloy tray on the back and just have a nice little all rounder.
