    Default ae71 exhaust

    Car - ae71 pano

    motor - 4ac

    use - not daily

    problem -

    occurs/started when - i did a key banger lol

    personal situation -
so of the three cars i got registered 2 have blown up exhaust systems and one has a BHG so its time i started fixing them up.

anyway my question is what should i do for an exhaust system for the 4ac considering I'm planning for a 4age soon?
-should i just get something made from the flange back?
    -what size pipe/mufflers to use?

if its not a daily just cut it off, and get a good system when you get a 4AGE

If you get a new one, get some TRD copy headers before you put it in, piping no larger than 2.25 inch. And use at least 1 muffler if you dont want a new race sticker on the windshield curtosey of SAPOL..... otherwise cut the current muffler off and replace it with something cheap or weld it up.

if you want a hand to knock something up to get your through... sing out.

    thanks Ben,

I'll definately be getting a muffler its just a matter of which one.
I've tried without a muffler at all and it sounds worse than it does with the busted one. but thats probably because my 4a runs on 3cylinders most of the time

I haven't yet had time to call exhaust shops. too much work! but will soon. If its too hard to get done soon I might end up getting a 2nd hand muffler welded on or use the one off my ke70 wagon if that doesn't sell, Just so i can start driving the car again without attracting massive amounts of attention...
