    Hey just wondering does an 86 cage fit a ke what's needed to fit them.

    yes it fits, but the roof loops sit a fair way off of the roof, as the ke has a much higher roof.

    other people will be able to confirm the actual gap.

    i placed the main hoop of my 86 cage into my 70 to check it out... it touches the headlining, the only thing i didnt like.. no i havent looked at to many ke cages, but the main hoop sits just foward of the middle of the rear door...

    nah behind that pillar toward the rear of the car.. around about where the rear seat cushion finishes

    I put the cage out of my ae86 coupe (no sunroof) in my ae71. It fits without needing to cut holes in the dash. However, because the ae86 windscreen is more raked than the *e7*, the A-pillar bars don't sit near the pillar - they partially block the front windows. The centre hoop obstructs the rear doors.

    Unless you have a low mounted seat, your head will hit the cage, especially if wearing a helmet.
