accelerator cable 2 suit 4age ae86 conversion

hey peoples i was told that i cant use my standard accelerator cable from my 4ac on my 4age .
am i right?
do i need 2 replace it?
also if i need 2 change it , what car should i take it off for a direct fit
any help would be good as always

you need a cable out of any corolla with a 4k or 3k in it

ke70,ke30.ke55 etc
