Update:
went down to see dave at ajps to have a look and ended up putting a deposit on a rebuilt 16v smallport 4age which he was going to use in his car but since decided to go beams. all hang ons are off the motor so for me who has little to no experience with motors should be a steep learning curve....

loom, fuel rail, injectors, ecu, trd lightened flywheel
still need to buy t50, clutch, master, slave, hardline, pedal box, gearbox x-member, tail shaft, exhaust manifold and fuel systemran out of cash for the moment but got heaps to do now anyway
nice work, will be pretty sweet with 4age
