i run an adaptronic and I love it. Mines the old version too so it hasn't got the features of the new one but its still awesome.

having said that, I would read up on the ecus in your price range and make a short list then find out who are the good tuners/installers in the area and find out what they are using. Cos in the long run it is very possible that your tuner will get MUCH better results than with the ecu he is experienced with rather than an unfamiliar ecu that may be technically better.

And as sundee said a 4age really doesn't take much managing!
Im running a smallport with quads and my ecu is running purely on TPS!
I have a map sensor hooked up but im not using it and i don't have an o2 sensor hooked up.
Originally I was just getting a straight tps tune just to get me on the road becuase my tuner said its hard to do a map tune on multiple throttle bodies. But it runs really well so i haven't bothered, especially since i have a 4agze waiting in the shed!
