Looking on the EPC the 4A-GE and 4A-C items look a bit different. It is called a "Stabalizer, engine mounting".

stabalizer for what, torque is about as powerful as passing wind lol, kinda got me interested, i think i left mine out when we dropped my engine back in
perhaps the 4age model is stiffer. I have some TRD 4age mounts so I will compare them.
I have decided what I will do; I already have jigged up my custom mounts to suit these in place and just to check when removed the engine no longer sits at the right angle or position. So to stop people having to source these as well with any of the engine adapting brackets that I will sell I will make an oversimplified version of these that can be included.

The purpose of the cup thingos is incase of engine mount failure in order to catch your motor so it doesn't fall down off the mount.
Mind you, I've driven an AE71 with a broken mount before (the rubber had come loose from one side) and it still sat there fine where it should.
Might only have effect if both your rubber mounts shear.
i took them out so my 7a could get lower
I think cusco mounts are a tad bit shorter, from what Ive heard, if you need more clearance and want to keep it in.
