i just did mine last night.
basically,
jack the rear end
rest the car on very sturdy jacks as you will be laying under the car for a while.
drain the diff oil
remove rear wheels
remove rear callipers/drums
remove hub bolts, it should be 4 bolts
axles should slide out (when i did this, one axle came out very easily, the other took a lot of yanking. so, if one is being a stubborn bitch, bring back one of the wheels you took off and bolt back onto the stubborn axle and boot it until it wobbles free.
head back under the car, and disconnect the tailshaft, (4 bolts, 12mm i think?)
then work your way around the pinion flange undoing the bolts. (think thats what its called) should be 10 bolts if your diff is a t series or 8 if its an s series.
assuming that youv taken out your axles, your centre and pinion should wobble free.
now that you have the pinion flange, undo the 4 bolts that hold the centre down and the 2 bolts that hold the bearings in place.
wriggle free the centre.
if your planning on using the existing crown wheel onto your new centre, then you have to undo the 8? bolts on the back of the centre that hold the crown in position and basically reverse from here on to get your 2 way going again.
*while you have your 2 way out, (unless its brand new) get it shimmed otherwise you will be repeating this process when it starts single-ing

^^ thanks heaps hachi_dk sounds easy enough. I bought the centre second hand but it seems to be in still gd nick would i still need to get it shimmed?
its not hard, just a dirty job, depends on what diff it is really
its better off to get new clutch packs than get yours reshimmed, if ur diffs a bit whiney might wana replace your pinion bearing and see that cw&p arent leaving grooves in the teeth
where can i buy clutch packs for trd 2ways and approx how much would they cost thanks ae86
-also, i bought a centre that i thought was "alright" and it ended up singling on me.
so best off to get it all done while its out
also, which diff do you have?
if you have a t series you can contact the website sponsor "spirited drive" and they should be able to hook you up with a LSD rebuild kit IF your diff is a t series.
LSD rebuild kit from t3 set me back about $190 posted from USA.
hachi ur diff has diff shaped clutch packs to his
those clutch packs arnt made for a trd 2way,
message jesse streeter his msn is on his website, ask him to look for ae86 trd lsd rebuild kit part number for you and then he will get in contact with them and reply to you.
