    Default Fuel Lines and Exhaust

    Car - MX73 Cressida

    motor - Sr20DE+T

    use - To be skidded

problem - Want to know how close the exhaust/dump pipe can be to hard fuel lines

occurs/started when - Well the Original 5m has its exhaust on the opposite side (driver) to the SR (passenger). it started when i put the superior motor in.

Attached is a dodgy pic that best shows whats going on.

personal situation - Im a uni student and want it to be running before the new year. lol, I am willing to modify it if necessary. but really dont want to relocate fuel lines.

    Thanks

Its really not ideal... I doubt you'll melt the fuel line but just consider this statement.

Perhaps the chance of anything going wrong is slim.... but is it worth the risk? You could conceivably end up with an engine fire. Which has the potential to harm if not kill you.

So why not just take the time, get it as far away as possible and consider that you've done the safer option.

It is not a screamer pipe. It is a normal dump pipe. The gate line goes back into the exhaust

i thought i might have to recloate it, just wanted a second opinion.

    Thanks
