I'm in Melbourne, Car i want is in QLD... Whats the best way to get it?!?

I'm in Melbourne and have found a car in QLD i like the look of, ill be getting the RACQ to do an inspection on it so at least i have some sort of un-bias opinion as to condition of the car.

Now my problem lies with getting the car from QLD to Melbourne and the cash from me to QLD.

The option of flying up and driving back is out as i dont have the time to do it.

I didnt want to sent the money to the seller then the truck rocks up and the car isn't there, is there a transport company that can give them the money when they pick up the car?

If you know a way to do this let me know!

go up there and inspect the car yourself ? if your happy with it pay him drive it to the courier yard and they will take it from there

Either fly up yourself, look at it and organise transport, or get someone you trust to go look at it, pay and take it.

If it's exactly what you want, the $1000 in flights, transport, etc will be worth it. If it's a $2000 clean KE70 wait until one turns up in Melbourne.

haha or you can do what i did. just look a a few pics on the net, talk to the owner for 20mins and then put the money straight into his account without even knowing him and get him to take it to the depot to get it trucked ther

A few years back when I lived in Sydney I wanted a car that was in Tassie.

I had these guys inspect it for me:



Best $200 I ever spent. So many photos and a massively detailed report. I ended up not buying the car based on the things they told me and saved myself lots of cash and heart ache.

They can organise haggling, payment and shipping too if you want them to. All at a cost of course.

I reckon it was worth the spend as I didn't know any one in the area at the time.
