I always find welding and fabbing the best part of the build. I think the beer is there for restraint but i havent tried it on an 86 lately.

Tub looks good, I would have rathered it with out the crease on the front. What turbo? why do thou wish so many horses IN YOUR CAR!!!!!!!

The crease is just the bend fron the very front where it joins the rad support... not much I could really do about it... other than make a new radiator support... Wont notice it once the engine is back in...

And Biggo... you can NEVER have to much hp... especially when its wide and responsive horsepower...
The turbo is a GT 3071. with .63 T3 external rear housing.. (i'm sure I've said already)
Should see full boost of 20ish psi at 4000.. some ppl even get it on full boost before then... So should be epic fun.. baaaaaaaaa da da da da baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

    X-member... Started...

First.. drill the spoit welds out. You should end up with something that looks roughly like this..
This is after I stuck a cold chisel in there to open u the gap..

Second.. cut through the steering rack mounts inside of the welds.. with a bit of luck it'll turn out like ths..
    i
Then mark our how much you want to move the rack forward...
I chose ALOT. and ended up with this..
Please note that that it took an air hack saw to cut through the interenal baffels and get it to this stage.

And here is what it looks like BEFOR you start... for future reference

Do what.?? work lots hours and still be motivated.???
Tell you the truth I'm totally rooted... only really get the weekends to do anything, unless I finish at a sane time eg 4ish.. And then I still have no time to work on the car cause I;m trying to get other stuff I've been neglecting done...
Currently my house is a mess.. Don't think there's any clean dishes left.. I have a growing mountain of washing to do plus many other cleaning issues I want to attend to.. So with a great deal of luck I "MIGHT" get to spend some time on the car tomorow... maybe.
