factory fit sunroof??
hey all.
got adm 86 and it has sliding sunroof called SPORTSROOF, manufactured by a company called AUTO SUN AND AIR. 47 basset street mona vale. i know this cause it says on the label but they dont exist anymore.AS PICTURED BELOW.
i think it was a dealer fit thing cause ive seen another adm,same colour and same sunroof.
does anyone else have one? know who can fix it or atleast get me parts. someone in sydney helps.
the lock is doggy,it leaks,etc.
definately not factory fit. may have been a dealer outsourced option, but certainly not from the toyota factory floor.
i will take a guess and say the place used, was popular amongst dealers at that time for sunroofs/had a deal going on with the toyota dealership your car was first bought from.
i got the same roof does my head in please tell me if sum knows if u can upgrade it thanks
You could get the turret swapped to non sunroof type. Would cost 1000-1500 though.

vtaz- well that makes 3 of us then! but hey, sunroofs were cool back then. haha. what is the problem with yours?
anthony- i looked into that,was gena get a roof skin from sexy16 but he sold the car before i could get to it. havent been able to find one for ages.
