so made some more progress on my weekend off this weekend. is looking quite crazy now.
have made my mind up to cut the panhard and chassis sections completely out of the rear of the car, as they are simply too rusty to work with, so seeing as this is the case, i think im going to build a watts link setup for the rear at the same time.. should be an interesting experiment anyway.
should be quite tunable with 4 rose jointed equal length arms, plus a watts linkage in there as well. but it means a hell of a lot of fabrication to come.....
anyway onto the pics....
this is the second tub welded in place, you can also see the texta line where the foctory floor needs to be removed for extra diff clearance...
this is from the rear with both tubs welded in place....
and this is a better shot of the floor section i need to get rid of.....
and what do you know, we got stuck in with the grinder again and chopped the floor away as well for good measure... this is how it sits now.....
so im off to the steel supplier to have a sheet of 2mm black steel folded for the new floor tomorrow, and then i can start on the 4 link boxes....
